Designed and made in Melbourne, Australia
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in Melbourne, a city I’m proud to now call home. Coming from another part of the world, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to live and work among such creative, supportive, and inspiring Australians. Being able to serve the local community and contribute to Melbourne’s rich culture of craftsmanship is both an honour and a privilege.

COMMISSIONED PIECES

ANGIE'S PHASMYD XXXL
This one was especially meaningful, as it was commissioned by a dear friend. Measuring 1600 × 350 × 450 mm, I knew I had to take it on, and the result was truly amazing. It was the most stunning Brushbox board I’ve ever worked with, and I’m so glad it went to someone special.

THERESE'S RESTORATION
This was my first restoration project, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. There were challenges along the way, but each one helped me learn and grow. It was absolutely worth it, and I’m excited to take on more projects like this in the future.

MATT'S AWESOME PHASMYD XL
The is a stunning Phasmyd XL bench, measuring 1200 × 350 × 450h mm and crafted in American walnut. It was paired with two matching coat racks, one at 1200 mm and the other at 600 mm. This was such an exiting commission to work on, and I have to say it’s easily one of the most beautiful Phasmyd benches I’ve made so far. Really happy with how this one turned out.

DARREN'S SPECIAL COFFEE TABLE
A project full of challenges and time constraints, yet deeply rewarding. Built with four sturdy legs and adjustable feet, this piece was both a learning curve and a satisfying finish.

PAM'S TINY MAGNOLIA
This is a take on one of my previous designs — shorter, more compact, and crafted entirely from beautifully selected Tasmanian blackwood. A refined evolution of the original, combining thoughtful proportions with the natural richness of the timber. Simply majestic.

SAMI'S PHASMYD BENCH
A bold, minimal piece that brings character and strength into any corner.
My client Sami and her appreciation for the subtle design details helped me see the beauty in this piece all over again.
Her enthusiasm brought it back to life—and now it’s available as a made-to-order item.

NICK'S BENCH
I absolutely loved working on this piece. While its minimalist design might seem straightforward, it came with its own set of challenges due to the sheer size, weight, and the sturdiness it needed to have. Made from stunning slabs of heavily featured Australian Blackwood, every angle reveals a new detail in the grain. The clean geometry makes it perfect for modern spaces, but it’s the timber that steals the show.

LOOP SHOP'S SHORT BENCH
This was a rewarding project, though not without its challenges—primarily due to the aggressive fluctuations in temperature throughout the process. In the end, however, the result was highly satisfying.
Â
Measuring 600 x 400 x 400 mm, the piece is based on the original Nick’s Bench design and crafted from stunning Tasmanian Blackwood. It’s a testament to the resilience of thoughtful design and careful craftsmanship.

THERESE’S COAT RACKS
A beautiful American walnut coat rack, where simplicity and elegance come together in a single piece. Crafted with care and attention to detail — I truly love making these.

GEN'S TASSIE NOELIA
Noelia – Special Edition. Measuring 900×500×450, this version is crafted from Tasmanian Oak, a variation on my original American Oak design. A beautiful piece with subtle details throughout, and a real pleasure to bring to life.

ELIZABETH'S HALWAY BENCH
Crafted from solid oak, this hallway bench (800x300x450mm) blends timeless simplicity with natural beauty. Its clean lines and warm grain make it a versatile piece, perfect for entryways, mudrooms, or the foot of a bed.
Â
Designed for everyday use, yet striking enough to stand out, it offers both form and function in one elegant, compact design.

EXCELON'S SPECIAL PHASMYD XL
This Phasmyd XL bench was a real pleasure to build, as always, but this one feels especially meaningful. The client requested clean, seamless joints instead of the classic design with visible screws—and the result speaks for itself. The smooth lines and refined finish give it a sophisticated, minimalist look. I’m really proud of how it turned out and thrilled with the final result.

JACOB'S SURROUNDS
A new and challenging project that took time, patience, and a lot of problem-solving to get right. In the end, the result was incredibly satisfying and well worth the effort. The client was amazing to work with, and I couldn’t have asked for a better collaboration. Needless to say, I’d do it all over again.

FIONA'S GIFT
A recent project I really enjoyed working on. This end grain chopping board measures 550 × 350 × 40 mm and is made from Tasmanian oak with walnut strips. It was an exciting build, especially because it was made as a gift, and seeing it all come together made the process even more rewarding. A beautiful and solid piece that turned out really nicely.

ELLENA’S COLOURFUL CHOPPING BOARD
Made from American walnut, jarrah, blackwood, and blackbutt, this is a stunning chopping board. Its rich colors and natural textures will bring a touch of elegance to any kitchen for years to come. A piece that’s as beautiful as it is functional.

ANDY'S SPECIAL PHASMYD
This is the fourth Phasmyd bench I’ve made, but this one feels truly special. The character in this piece of Brushbox is absolutely stunning — full of movement, deep tones, and wild figuring that you just don’t see every day.
The design is one I’ve refined over time, but the timber really led the way here. The cracks, colour shifts, and grain variation give it a raw and almost sculptural presence.

DEEPAK'S CUSTOM PHASMYD
As soon as I visualized the design in my head, I knew it was going to be a banger. Made of this beautiful fine-grain Tasmanian Oak, this bench measures 1200 x 350 x 450 mm (L x W x H), making it the perfect blend of form and function. The clean lines and natural tones make it a standout piece that feels right at home in any space. Simple, sturdy, and crafted with care — it’s one of those pieces that just works.

MARK'S GRAND END GRAIN CHOPPING BOARD
This was a special commission — a massive 800 × 500 × 43mm end grain board made from rich, beautifully figured Blackwood.
Â
It’s the biggest end grain piece I’ve made so far, and it brought its fair share of challenges. But seeing it finished makes every bit of effort worth it. Durable, refined, and built to stand out in any kitchen.
Â

WILL'S PHASMYD BENCH
Made of Brushbox and a semi-matte finish, this one measures 1400x225x350mm tall. A warm tone, clean lines, and heaps of character in the grain bring it all together. Always a pleasure working with this design.

CARMEL'S DAUGHTERS
Two chopping boards, two styles, just like two sisters. A heartfelt gift from mom, blending uniqueness and love in every slice.

FRANCESCO HALLWAYÂ BENCH
Clean, practical, and elegant, perfect for entryways or at the foot of the bed.
Â
Created for Andrew, who had a clear purpose and trusted the creative process. It looked so good in his space, I decided to offer it as a made-to-order item too.
PERSONAL PROJECTS

THE PLACE I CALL HOME
It’s amazing how my home has turned into a gallery, a testament to the things I love to make. I truly enjoy living with my creations and sharing them with others, knowing they can benefit from them as well. I couldn’t be happier; a truly happy camper!

ZENO SIDE/COFFEE TABLE PROTOTYPE.
It has a solid look, built entirely from 35mm thick American Oak, with Blackwood strips lining the outer edges of the base. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out; though for future versions, I’m planning to swap the strips for Walnut to add a bit more contrast.

THE VITTORIO COFFEE TABLE
Meet the Vittorio Coffee Table – This project began about 3–4 months ago and, honestly, it’s been a journey. Between juggling commissions and making constant design adjustments, there were plenty of delays and frustrating moments along the way. At times, proportions just didn’t translate from sketch to build, so I had to adapt on the go. It took time, but it was worth it.
Â
I’m stoked with how it turned out. Made from American Oak and American Walnut, the mix of tones adds just the right amount of contrast. Dimensions are 1100 × 400 × 350mm (H).
Â

MODENA BOOK SHELF
This piece was made for myself. The design came from the need for a 1800mm tall shelf, but with limited timber available. It’s amazing how constraints can spark ingenuity, turning challenges into creative solutions. I love how necessity pushed this design into something unique and unexpected.

MY PINE DIY TABLE
From forgotten timber to a new favourite piece.
Â
This round table (940 mm) is made from recycled pine I saved from my old TAFE here in Melbourne. It had been sitting in my garage for about a year and a half, just waiting for the right purpose.
A $15 IKEA base from Marketplace, a bit of DIY work, and a handmade circular panel later, and I’m genuinely happy with how it turned out. There’s something special about giving old materials a second life.

MY TV CONSOLE
I made this quick and tidy TV console from New Zealand pine. It was a one-day project, and I absolutely love it. Simple, functional, and crafted with care — I hope it will be a part of my home for many years to come.

MY LITTLE SHELF
This was such an amazing little one-day project!
Â
I made this low shelf using recycled 20mm jarrah from old flooring and 20mm American oak boards. It’s a compact piece, measuring 800 x 240 x 450mm. It embraces the natural features and defects of the timber. A simple idea brought to life, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out and I hope it stays in my home for a good while.

PHOTO FRAMES AND COASTERS
I made these photo frames and coasters at home, and I’m so thrilled with how they turned out! They’re crafted from off-cuts of blackbutt timber, giving each piece a unique character. I know they’ll last for a long time, holding cherished photos of people who are dear to me. It’s such a joy to create something that combines beauty, function, and personal meaning.

GIVING MY PLANTS A LITTLE HIGHT
Got a few new indoor plants recently and figured I’d use my skills to give them something nice to sit on. The design itself is nothing new, just the tried and true classic plant stand, but I love how they turned out in this raw-looking 20mm thick American oak. Simple, clean, and warm, just the way I like it.

OFF-CUTS COAT RACK
A clean and clever solution for keeping your hallway tidy and stylish. This was a personal project that let me play with form and function in a fun, practical way.

SERVING BOARDS
Driven by my mission to give purpose to the offcuts in my workshop, I set out to craft a pair of rustic pieces, designed not only to be functional, but also to serve as striking accent pieces on any table.

MY TRUSTY KEYBOARD STAND
Built from offcuts and quiet moments in the workshop, this hickory keyboard stand has been part of my daily setup for nearly a year now. I made it about 10 months ago, back when I didn’t have a table saw or mitre saw yet. Every cut was done with a circular saw and a bit of patience.
Â
Measuring 460 x 140 x 40 mm with a subtle 10° incline, it’s held up beautifully to constant use.
The wear marks, tiny nicks, and soft sheen from use just make me like it more.

THE ORIGINAL PHASMYD BENCH
This is the original iteration of the Phasmyd bench, crafted from Tasmanian Myrtle. While the current design features a slightly narrower profile and now uses Brushbox due to Myrtle’s rarity, the essence of the piece remains true to its roots—simple, solid, and striking.

TWIN END GRAIN CHOPPING BOARDS
Handmade from Tasmanian Oak and Jarrah, these boards are gentle on your knives and made to last, featuring under-grip handles and non-slip rubber feet for added function. Simply beautiful.

CHECKERBOARD CHOPPING BOARD
Handmade from Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood and Jarrah, this chopping board is simply beautiful.
