ABOUT VIZZUALTY WOODS

I’m Terry, founder and builder behind Vizzualty Woods. What started as a simple interest in woodworking gradually turned into something more. I enjoy the process of taking raw timber and turning it into something that actually has a place in someone’s home.

Vizzualty Woods was founded in late 2024, and in that short time, I’ve been fortunate to be part of a growing number of projects. Seeing these pieces go into people’s homes and become part of their space is easily one of the most rewarding parts of what I do

It’s not just about making furniture. It’s about getting the details right, how a piece feels, how it sits in a space, and how it holds up over time. That’s what I focus on in every build.

I keep things simple and well balanced, working with materials that have real character and building pieces that are made to last. No shortcuts, no overcomplication, just solid, thoughtful work that still looks right years from now.

Every piece is designed around the space it’s going into, so it doesn’t feel generic, it feels like it belongs.

You deal directly with me from start to finish. You share your idea, I guide you through the design and materials, and once it’s approved, I build it. The process is straightforward, and your piece is typically ready within 3–6 weeks.

If you’ve got a space in mind, let’s build something that actually belongs there.

Hi, I’m Terry, a woodworker who found inspiration in the beauty of timber and the hands-on process of making things. What started as a hobby quickly turned into something more meaningful, a way to bring together creativity, design, and craftsmanship into pieces you can actually use and enjoy.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching an idea take shape, from a rough sketch to a real, finished piece.

I got into woodworking as a way to slow down and work with natural materials, and I was hooked from the start. The process of shaping raw timber into something useful and lasting really stuck with me. It takes time and care, and I learn something new with every project.

Lately, I’ve enjoyed using Australian hardwoods like Brushbox. It’s tough, full of character, and has a look that makes each piece stand out. One of my favourites so far has been the Phasmyd Bench, a clean, versatile piece that works great as a decorative bench or a spot to show off your favourite plants or vases. It captures what I try to do in all my work: keep things simple, functional, and thoughtful.

What I love most about woodworking is the rhythm of it; measuring, cutting, routing. It’s that mix of creativity and precision that makes the process feel just right. I bring that same attention to detail to every job, whether it’s a custom side table or a bigger, one-off build.

My goal is to make furniture that’s useful and meaningful; built to last, tell a story, and show off the natural beauty of the wood. I believe in keeping things simple, sustainable, and made with care.

Thanks for stopping by and supporting handmade work. I’m excited to keep building and share more with you as I go.
